Why this matters
If you tried Projects before and hit cases where it missed something or pulled the wrong info - give it another go. The retrieval engine underneath has been completely reworked. You should notice a real difference, especially with larger projects.
For the engineers: we moved to hybrid search - combining full-text search with the vector search we had before. This means better keyword matching on top of semantic understanding. We also added date-aware retrieval, so queries like “what happened in March 2024” actually work well now. Happy to nerd out in the comments if you want details.
